The User hereby releases The Town of Colonial Beach, its officers, agents and all employees and volunteers from liability, damages, claims, injuries or suits arising from such error, inaccuracy or problem. Furthermore, the User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Town of Colonial Beach and its officers, agents and all employees and volunteers, from claims, liability, damages, injuries and suits arising from the use of the digital maps therein or thereon by the User, its employees or assignees, or by any third party.

Freedom of Information Act Request
The Virginia Freedom of Information Act, § 2.2-3700 et seq. of the Code of Virginia, guarantees citizens of the Commonwealth and representatives of the media access to public records held by public bodies, public officials, and public employees. A public record is any writing or recording -- regardless of whether it is a paper record, an electronic file, an audio or video recording, or any other format -- that is prepared or owned by, or in the possession of a public body or its officers, employees or agents in the transaction of public business. All public records are presumed to be open, and may only be withheld if a specific statutory exemption applies. The Colonial Beach Public School System was established as an independent school division in 1907. It serves the residents of Colonial Beach, which is a small town of about 3,500 people located directly on the Potomac River.
